We have built this site to conform to W3C standards for XHTML and CSS, and we strive to achieve AAA accessibility rating against the web content accessibility 1.0/2.0 (WCAG). This means our site will be viewable by the widest ranges of devices both now and in the future.
Below are a number of additional notes and recommendations to visitors of our website who are using assistive technologies or mobile devices, or who may have restrictions on the use of Javascript due to company policy or device limitations.
Navigation and content is available even if you do not have Javascript activated. We have built into our site a 'skip links' tag for standard screen readers to offer users an option to skip directly to the content of the page if they so choose.
Access Keys provide a quick way to navigate round the site without using a mouse, and on this site are based on the UK Government Access Keys system. The keys are used in conjunction with Alt or Ctrl and Enter keys which vary depending on your browser.
