We wanted to create a bank of human interest stories to highlight the fact that people can bridge cultures and share similar aspirations and values. Using rich media and social media integration for maximum engagement and wider participation.
We created the identity and campaign concept of a 'connections gallery', inviting people to tell us what they enjoy most about living in Scotland and their country of origin. By giving users the functionality to upload photos (or drawings) for comparison in our connections gallery, along with video voxpops and written stories.
These stories were then tagged in relation to regions of Scotland, EU countries and dates.
The project was nominated for 2011 Roses Awards for best use of visual design.
